Isn't she technically Villaraigosa's leftovers... Or Fabian Nunez's.. or Alex Padilla's? She's had more politicians in her than the Senate Rotunda! Boo-Ya!

I can't believe the nasty comments regarding this whole matter. One should be happy that someone has survived this whole ordeal and has moved on. It makes it sound that is ok for the men to do what they do. BUT, when it comes to a woman, it is a whole different story. She is the bad person and is considered every nasty name in the book! Well let me tell you all. When I first was elected to the city council in South El Monte I was beside myself. There were many new things to learn, experience and take in. Nothing could of prepared myself and two other councilwomen from Artesia and Cudahay as to what awaited us. WE decided to help one another by attending conferences together from here to Sacramento and other states. We were totally disgusted, horrifed and turned off by some of these elected officials (some our age and some way, way order)as to even think that they were "hot stuff" or even desireable! YUCK!!!What makes them think that THEY are all that, was beyond us. All we could do was compare ther silly come on lines and laugh. But those daring men did not give up. They would try to dine and wine you. Married or not, they were insistant. Did we witness some goings on? More than I care to mention, and at all govermental levels. WE even have some going ons as we speak. Do people (politicians and residents) know about them? Yup! It is better than those gossip celebrity news papers. Good luck to whomever dares to do something unethical or bad, especially if you are a WOMAN. We are truely not measured by the same ethical yard stick! But if you are a man. In the eyes of other men you are considered a real man! Oh please, get over yourselves, especially you older men.

Wow. Blanca Figueroa must really want to get her message across to post three times. Look, it's a joke. And an extremely funny one. As a journalist who covered politics, why was she dating so many politicians? Isn't that a breach of journalistic ethics? Anyway, if Mayor El Cochino was on this post I would have commented on him, too. But he wasn't. BTW, I would love to go to some of those Sacramento events and see what goes on. I hear it's worse than Spring Break in Palm Beach.

Your comments may have seem to be funny and it may have been a joke. But at whose expense? You are right about having jounalistic ethics. Lately it seems that ethics for anyone, especially one who in the public eye is a joke. Sadly we have witnessed it over and over again these last months. From governmental officials to the entertainment industry to religious sectors. The question should be, "Where are we headed as a society that demonstrates such actions?" Sorry for posting my comments three times. I didn't think it went through. And as for coming along for the ride you are more than welcome to attend. Hold on to your pencials and pad. It is a whole different world.

Dear Mayor Figueroa,

With all due respect, I don't think anybody is attacking Ms. Salinas because she is a woman...instead, it is because she demonstrated a total lack of integrity or ethics! I don't think anyone has given the male public figures a pass for the same type of behavior.

The Mayor, Nunez and even former President Clinton were all attacked for the same type of behavior...and they should be.

The issue isn't about being a woman or man....it is about a lack of honesty, integrity and character.
