Nunez feels attacked because he's Mexican
Former Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez believes that his attacks on his spending were racially motivated, the Sac Bee reports.
"Because of the fact I am Mexican, they think I have to sleep under a cactus and eat from taco stands." Núñez's spending included more than $47,000 in plane fare, more than $5,000 at a wine cellar in France, and more than $2,500 for "office expenses" at Vuitton, the Los Angeles Times reported last October"Everyone's done it like this," Núñez said of previous legislative leaders. "The difference is there are some in politics who want to judge me in a certain manner.

There is nothing wrong with eating from a taco truck. You just have to know which ones are decent. Cactus cold salad with onions, tomatoes and cilantro, with freshly squeezed lemon is very tastey. Don't knock the food nor your roots. You should be proud from where you parents and grandparents came from like yourself Sr. Nunez. No one can knock you down. You do it by yourself. The concern in question is the abuse of the position you hold and what it exactly entails. Your expenses are questionable. Was this your own money or that of the tax payers? That's where one draws the line. Think about it. Sr. Nunez
