I have recently been assigned West Covina, in addition to my current beats: Irwindale, Rosemead, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, and water.

What does that mean? Hopefully, a lot more West Covina blog posts!

Who has some West Covina story ideas? Lay them on me!

There's this West Covina Watcher I've heard about...

Thank's Johnny. So far, Johnny is the only reader to post anything on the actual blog. Others have been emailing me. I've been out of the loop a little, but I'll be back. How about you do a story on how everyone's moving out of The Lakes development area and it just opened maybe 2-3 years ago. Why? I'm sure the business owners there were promised this new downtown redevelopment that never came. In its stead are more and more homeless. However, Steve Herfert says "people want to keep it the way it is." I guess he hasn't exactly been around there lately.
