WalMart Wall.jpgSouth San Gabriel resident Marlene Shinen holds up a piece of the WalMart "sound wall" - a flimsy, mesh-like tarp.

The Rosemead City Council  on Tuesday discussed some ongoing issues occurring at the Wal-Mart Supercenter.

Among them is that an electrical transformer that is above ground should be underground. Apparently, Edison officials say that the transformer is underground.

No decisions were made at the meeting regarding Wal-Mart.

Yes, because if there's anything this country needs, it's more low-paying jobs by employers who ignore labor and environmental laws.
