UPDATE: One more invoice

| | Comments (0) |

Rosemead is preparing for high city attorney fees next year by jacking up the legal budget. It is proposed to be more than double that of this year's.

Today, I reported a story about Rosemead City Attorney Bonifacio Garcia's bills. Late yesterday, City Manager Oliver Chi told me that he received yet another bill from Garcia. I don't know how much it is, but so far Garcia has been averaging about $36,000 a month**. I expect to post an update later in the day with the exact figure for the most recent invoice.

**Earlier, I mistakenly wrote that it was $36,000 a year. Thanks to the reader who pointed that out!
