What Lakers game?

For all those who were too busy watching the Lakers beat the Celtics, here are the highlights from Rosemead's council meeting:

1. The City Council okayed money so that it can implement technology that will play council meetings on the Web. That includes both live broadcasts and archived meetings.
2. The City Council approved the budget for the 2008-09 fiscal year.
3. The City Council approved upgrades, including a jogging trail, for Rosemead Park.
4. Residents will vote on term limits for the City Council. That approved, 3-2.
5. Some guy fell asleep during the meeting and began snoring pretty loud. No, it wasn't the city attorney. (Meeting goers have previously spotted the city attorney asleep at the council meetings.)
