El Monte wrap up

Phew. I just finished watching the El Monte City Council meeting.

Mayor Ernie Gutierrez still did not make a statement regarding the incident at the sister city event, and the only council member to address it was Councilwoman Pat Wallach. Her prepared statement called on Mayor Ernie Gutierrez to step up or step down.

“He should stand up like a man,” and apologize, Wallach said.

She also questioned the method in which the investigation was performed, and said that the three council members that attended the event were not interviewed. Wallach added that she saw an open bottle of tequila in front of Gutierrez at the event. She did not say whether Gutierrez was seen drinking from it.

She also said that Gutierrez does not control the city, and that these actions put the city in a bad light.

Three people spoke in public comment against Gutierrez. One of them asked Gutierrez should be recalled.

    Mayor had some of his pets speaking for him. Andre Quintero is trying real hard to be a friend to anyone the police support. I’ll bet Andre will be the next El Monte Police pick for Mayor.

    Gutierrez should be very concerned. His number is up. He can’t stop the truth from coming into full view for all to see. No matter how hard Clark Mosely, Jim Mussenden, Art Barrios, Jay Gomez and Emily Ishigaki try. They sat there like dummies. With a stone froozen over glazed look. Ernie smug and irrogant like always. Pat Wallach was the only councilmember that did the right thing. That took a lot of courage. She will pay for it like always. Ernie and the El Monte Police will make sure of that. That is all they do intimidate and bad mouth people who disagree with them. Ernie has a fowl, nasty, gangster type of curseing at people he hates. Just look at his facial expressions and body language. Like a bull dog ready to attack its prey and devour it. El Monte will never change. Not with Ernie and his Gang of Three and the El Monte Posse.

    I was present at the meeting. Ernie made me sick like always. What a bold face liar. I was also present at the 5 de Mayor Sister City Event. Myself and all those that were there that night now can say the Gutierrez has no integrity whats so ever. He did walk in without Olga, his wife. It was his girlfriend Gracelia. He has introduced her as his wife at times. He was absolutey drunk when he and his girlfriend arrived at the event. He did touch her inapproriately. She seemed to have liked it. He did use inappropriate spanish words that entire evening. He did insult us all, especially the two Sister City Delegations. We all know him for what and who he really is. No one can tell us any different. No police, no city manager, no report. We witnessed it first hand. The two men who were at the councilmeeting should be interviewed by the Tribune. They said that they were also present, but were not asked about what took place at the community center at Cinco de Mayo.Let’s get the truth for a change and not a snow job like always.

    The mayor of El Monte needs to resign. We are fed up with his stupit bevavior. We will see with lay offs and the budget. A re-call will soon be on it’s way. Depending on the other three clowns it may be four recall petitions.

    How do you expect Ernie Gutierrez to be a man and do the right thing? For heavens sake he cheats on his wife Olga in front of her face. He takes Gracelia to all parties in town and to meetings and conferences that the city pays for. We see her on his lap all the time. He drinks every kind of alcohol that is put in front of him. He is a serious alcoholic drunk. He drives drunk all over the city. Has accidents, and gets away with it. This is not a man, far from it. He curses to his hearts content. In english and spanish. Especially at Olga when she would not leave him alone at city events. Many witnessed it. Including his three amigos on the city council and city manager and the police. They did nothing to stop Ernie from treating Olga like shit. You call this a man. HE is a sorry excuse for a human being all together. NOT A MAN AT ALL. NOT A MAYOR AT ALL. NOT A HUSBAND AT ALL.
    A REAL COWARD…THAT IS ABOUT ALL.

    The gentlemen that said he was on the International Sister City Board of Directos should be definately interviewed by the Tribune. He said that he was present at the May 3rd event. He was not interviewed. I only got his first name Bob or Robert. I heard him tell people that he was shocked to see and hear the way that Mayor Gutierrez conducted himself at the event. He did not believe that Ernie was the mayor of El Monte. He thought that he was just a guest that drank too much and was out of controll. I don’t blame the Tuxtla Chiapas Mexico delegation for leaving the event. It was very embarresing that night. There is truth to the mayors unprofessional behavior. Wallach, Barrios and Gomez should of been questioned about what they witnessed too. Get a letter from the Mexican Delegations. They will tell the truth, no matter what!

    Ernie Gutierrez does not control El Monte. Far from it. He can’t even contol his own life and drinking.
    The truth of the matter is that the El Monte Police, rank and file controll Ernie, Emily, Art and Jay. They are the puppet masters. They pull the strings of the four dummies. What a damn shame.
