Jogging trails and Clark’s fliers

Councilwoman Margaret Clark sent out another round of fliers, regarding the issue of a jogging trail at Rosemead Park, to residents in preparation for tonight’s meeting.

In the flier, she attached verbatim comments made at a meeting two weeks ago, a copy of two newspaper articles on the issue, and a letter addressed, “Dear Friends.”

Mayor Pro Tem John Nuez is trying to shove his version of the rubberized asphalt concrete jogging trail which still invades the family picnic area,” she wrote.

At the last council meeting, the council rejected all bids for a concrete jogging trail and agreed that the city should try and team up with Rosemead High for a trail that could be placed at the school.

She goes on, “On has to wonder if John Nuez is using old plot to pretend to listen to the voters and then sneak the project in while no one is looking.”

The flier will likely draw a crowd, as well as a reaction from the council members. Each time that Clark sends out one of her fliers, council members get more and more irritated because they feel the fliers are full of inaccuracies.

Mayor John Tran said that he has not seen the flier, but that he is not surprised at all that Clark would send out another one. “It is something that we have to deal with,” Tran said of her flier.

Just out of curiosity. How old is that picture of Margaret Clarke. I looks really 80′s-ish to me.

One has to wonder if Margaret Clark is using the old plot of pretending to care about anyone but herself. Exhibit 1 for why term limits would be a good thing for Rosemead.

It’s a big park. I think it’s possible that joggers and picnic goers can coexist.

  • ROSEMEAD

HEY THE GAL LOOKS FINE. PORTRAITS COST ABOUT $500 TO $800. WHO WANTS TO TAKE A NEW ONE EVERY YEAR? THAT COULD ADD UP. MANY CITIES HAVE THEIR OLD ONES. CHECK IT OUT.

  • Always amazed

At least give Maggie the credit for not spending Rosemead’s tax dollars to have a new portrait taken. New photos run upwards of $1,000!

  • Always amazed

Term limits would also serve well for some of the other folks on that Council.

Geez, where the heck are you guys getting your pictures taken?

  • The Truth

What matters is Maggie Clark exposes the three amigos….they spend money that the city does not have on projects tje city does not need.

The three amigos have the power now so all you supporters of them tell us what they are goona do for you?

Well, Pravda, they delivered on a great jogging trail, with exercise equipment that benefits the whole community.

What has Maggot Clark ever done for you?
