Fireworks!!
You know it's almost the Fourth of July when you have official city groups setting up fireworks booths.
I was driving up Maine Street in Baldwin Park yesterday and I spotted one such booth with a banner plastered across it that read: Baldwin Park Sister City
I apologize about the photo quality. I was in my car across the street.

Commissions in lots of cities do fund raisers. Either they donate the money to non profits or they use the funds for their celebrations rather than burdening the taxpayers. I think it's a great idea.
I don't know their MUST be some sort of courrption going on there somewhere. Why else would Tania post this? I look forward to see many more posts in the next few days exposing this scandalous activity. Go get 'em Tania.
