There may be Moe fatigue, but the escape of the area's favorite chimp is still one of the top read stories on our Web site today. And I can see why when there are quotes like this:

The owners of Moe are West Covina residents. I wonder if anyone will bring up Moe at the West Covina City Council meeting tonight.

If someone does not want to read the Moe stories, skip them! I moved to CA in 1999 and remember when Moe was taken from his owners. I remember the horror of the attack on his owner. I am sad that he has escaped and has not yet been found. I agree with the prior comment that there is so much murder and crime in the paper that human interest stories are welcome. I'm sure there are many more people interested in Moe's welfare than not. Let's hope he is found soon and lives a long life.

It is sad to see how upset Moe's parents are. He was like their own child. Of course they are worried. Anyone would be if they lost a dear pet. But especially this one in particular. He was on of the family and has meant so much to the St. James from West Covina. I hope he turn up soon for his sake as well as this dear, caring and worried couple.
