The Marshall Family had some not so nice things to say about Chalet Gourmet owner Sid Maksoudian.

The San Dimas business owner got the following note from someone - or some persons - who only go by "The Marshall Family." It's pretty self-explanatory, and almost a bit unnerving...

Reporter Brian Day said Maksoudian - who was denied membership into the San Dimas Chamber of Commerce - has reported the letter to police. That being said, the controversy is getting pretty ugly....

I got this e-mail from a San Dimas resident on Monday:

Its not only the executives at the San Dimas Chamber of Commerce that put the 'smackdown' on the Chalet Gourmet membership request. I have been a member of this Chamber for years and support my Chamber in this decision. This man is a bully and does not in any way represent what our chamber stands for. I applaud the Executive Board and stand behind their decision 100%.

This does not surprise me. I observed Mr.Maksoudian yell at a representative at the Water Company the other day because she did not give him her full attention. He was very rude to her and yelled at her in front of coworkers and other people waiting in line to pay their bills. He kept asking for a manager and was so mean to her. He seems like he is very irritable about his situation with the Chamber and now is taking it out on the local utility. He needs to chill out before he get's the whole community of San Dimas against him.

I believe that Mr. Maksoudian made the note and mailed it to himself. He stands for nothing, but a lack of intelligence and ignorance. Can you image a family dinner at his house? I have had the unpleasant experience of watching this man at council meetings, on the street, etc., and have made a firm decision (which I passed on to those I know) NOT to ever buy anything from a business he is involved in. I believe this man has shot himself in the foot and is so ignorant has no idea that he will not recooperate from the damage he has done to himself. At this point, the City of San Dimas and its residents should not give any more negative or positive attention to this car wreck of an individual. Let's focus on the wonderful town we have lived in and will continue to live in with or without this ignoramous!

The "Pink Slip" that Mr. Maksoudian is making such a big deal about is a direct quote from HIMSELF against Ted Powell, President of the Chamber of Commerce, at the City Council meeting on 8/12/08. Mr. Maksoudian's disrespectful, derogatory and vengeful words were "Ted Powell should be given the Pink Slip by the Board of Directors." This is on audio tape as fact--check it out. It was simply quoted back to him in this letter. Big Deal! He just wants to paint himself as a victim by trying to use this letter as a perceived "theat" against him, which is ludicrous! He needs to drop this ridiculous ruse and quit wasting peoples' time...enough is enough! This is so typical of this man. He is an antagonistic troublemaker who has harrassed MANY San Dimas business owners. "Commerce" includes interacting socially with other businesses. He is apparently not capable of doing this with respect and dignity. Get a life Mr. Maksoudian!
