Yes, I was sitting in my leather chair in my living room here in Temple City, watching the BCS championship bowl game. It was a short, jerking motion. Very brief. I put my hand on the wall, then I kind of steadied the bookshelf next to me. That was it. I wasn't sure it was a quake until my son told me he got an IM from a friend who also felt it in Temple City.

From here in Whittier, it was a sharp jolt followed by a brief rolling motion.

I heard a rumbling noise and then my room jolted and I saw my closet doors and the clothes hanging in it shake. Felt a slight roll sensation. I'm sure glad it wasn't a bigger earthquake!

I was at choir practice at church in Sierra Madre and we heard the glass front doors rattle and bang and then I felt a roll under my feet. We all knew it had to be an earthquake but my granddaughter in Pasadena did not feel it. I was surprised to read it was a 5.0 in San Bernardino.

I was bringing the heat to my girl friend when the quake hit. It's alive!!

Yes, we felt it here in Monterey Park, which was like a 5 to 10 second jolt and saw the window glass moved like it was going to crack.

Thankfully, it was just a moderate quake.
