Celeste Manderville seems so busy with her modeling career, it's a wonder how she ever found the time to run an unsuccessful City Council campaign in La Puente last year.
At the time, Manderville was running against incumbents, Renee Chavez, John Solis and Lou Perez, as well as newcomers David Argudo, Dan Holloway, Nadia Mendoza and Martin Paz for two open seats.
Holloway and Mendoza won.
Now, Manderville is asking for votes for another kind of election. I got an e-mail from the former La Puente candidate a few days ago with the subject "VOTE FOR ME! MAKE AND ACCOUNT AND VOTE!!!" Click here to see what she wants you to vote for...

I wouldn't mind stuffing her ballot box.
I'm there if she need any polling.
My caucus is ready to welcome her.
I hear she polls well with the male demographic.

Gee, I wonder why she wasn't taken as a serious candidate for City Council.
Although the election is over, I know first hand Celeste continues to help out in her community.
As an example, just last week after having a back surgery Celeste was told from her doctor to stay in bed and rest. However, after hearing of a 13 year old boy being "JUMPED" in La Puente by a 15 year old boy and a 16 year old girl, Celeste took it upon herself to go to the speak with the two foster kids that had beaten up the 13 year old boy.
Celeste by no means had to do this, but she'd like to improve her community and help the kids today for a better tomorrow.
I'm sure in 2010 you can possibly do the polling, however stuffing the ballot is illegal.
Having a modeling career and running for city council are extremely different, however should not be viewed any differently from one being the mayor or governor and being an actor, athlete, or model etc.,
We should not jump to conclusions of why or why not Celeste didn't win the election.
We should however know that Celeste polls with the younger, older, mid age range of male and female demographic.
Celeste is a great asset to the city of La Puente and I am very happy to have her here.

CONCLUSION!!!!!! I DIDNT KNOW SHE RAN FOR CITY,BUT SHE COULD DEFINITELY GET A JOB AT THE SPEARMINT RHINO..
