How come nobodys done a story on who the next Rosemead City Manager will be. I was surprised when I got the agenda for Tuesday's special meeting. Looks like Magie got her wish and fired the City Manager.

There's a special Rosemead City Council meeting on Tuesday, April 7. They (meaning, the guys who say they want healing and our city to improve) want to fire the city manager that has done more to bring a city into the 21st Century than any city manager in the country. They'll also probably want to give a sweetheart contract to one of their cronies.
How many hundreds of thousands of dollars did they have to spend to fire Lazzareto? How many more hundreds of thousands of dollars to fire Chi? How many hundreds of thousands of dollars will it cost us when they go back to wasting money on Willdan rather than providing for our city's needs in-house? How many hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal and state grants are we going to have to start giving back when they start missing deadlines and performance standards, just like in "the good ole days"?
Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid.

Rumor is Rosemead is going to hire a guy who is accused of fondling women at his previous City Manager job in El Segundo. Jeff Stewart, a man accused of having affairs with woman and fondling others at El Segundo City Hall.
It will be interesting to see how quickly they start firing everyone else there at City Hall. It was telling to hear the new mayor say "can't we go back to the old way?" right after she was appointed I am glad I went to that meeting. That must mean going back to having Willdan people so she can go back to getting her kickback from them I wish there was a way to some how uncover her getting money under the table for that. Everyone knows that the old City Manager Tripipi practically owns Willdan, even before he left Rosemead. I wonder what ties this new person has to Rosemead or Willdan.
I just did a google search on Jeff Stewart. I can't believe it, in an article from the Daily Breeze says he used to work in Rosemead, he probably worked for Tripipi. He probably used to work for Willdan too! The paper also wrote "El Segundo's top city administrator quit Wednesday, leaving behind an $178,000 annual salary and no public explanation for his departure." Probably din't want to be sued for pulling a Nunez at his old job. Great, just what we need another sexual predator at City Hall, we just voted out the last one.
Let the Maggie Mischief begin, let's see how much she stars giving to Willdan, she probably gets a percentage. Why else would you give a company millions of dollars to keep the City looking like crap?
Maggie Clark is already at it! How ignorant is it to fire the best staff the City of Rosemead has ever had. Oliver Chi and the rest of the new staff have accomplished more in the past two years (with the direction of John Tran) than Maggie and the rest of the cronies have done in the past 30 years. Let's wait and see what other destruction she can accomplish. Maggie has no business being in office. She was a complete embarrassment to us on her visit to Washington D.C. a couple of weeks ago. While being interviewed on NPR about why Rosemead deserves "Stimulus Funds" over other cities in the nation, she was dead silence on national radio for 5-6 seconds. The best answer she could come up with was
"I don't know"! When the interviewer responded with "you better do your homework", Maggie answered "I guess I better". And this is what we are now stuck with for a Mayor? What a complete joke.

There's the link to the post, "The Sound of Silence." In that story is a link to the NPR story of Rosemead's highly experienced and articulate mayor, showing us that it was worth every penny to send her to Washington to lobby on our behalf. Click on the audio of that story. The transcript doesn't do it justice.
