Retiree medical costs total $11 million in 24 SGV cities

Medical costs for retirees is increasing, the LA Times reports.

Meantime, 24 local San Gabriel Valley cities are facing a $11 million tab this year to pay for their retiree medical benefits, and that bill is expected to climb as the number of retirees increases, life extectancy rates grow and health-premiums rise.
