The Landing Resort & Spa, Lake Tahoe’s only five-star luxury lakeside property opens in December with skier perks from boot warmers to complimentary Mercedes Sprinter transport to the slopes.

It will offer a two-night “Soft Landing” Ski Package where guests choose where they’d like to ski for two days, and enjoy a night on the town with a choice of two South Lake Tahoe casino shows, before returning to the “soft landing” in the five-star accommodations that await them at The Landing – including cozying up in plush robes before crackling in-room fireplaces while enjoying Lake Tahoe views.

Resort amenities for skiers include complimentary ski storage with boot warmers and valet service and complimentary transport to the Heavenly Gondola and to the Transportation Center with shuttle service to Sierra at Tahoe, Kirkwood or Northstar.

The two-night Soft Landing Ski Package for two starts from $959 and includes a welcome gift upon arrival and two lift tickets each day for two days of skiing (four tickets total) at guests’ choice of Heavenly, Sierra at Tahoe, Kirkwood or Northstar. Two tickets to one of two popular casino shows also are included in the package for après-ski fun: Guests can choose to see a stand-up comedy headliner at the Improv club or Master Magician Alex Ramon’s spectacles at Illusion Fusion.

The two nights’ accommodations are provided in one of The Landing’s Deluxe King Fireplace rooms, including a walk-out deck and a bath with jetted tub, walk-in rain shower, heated “night light” toilet seats and heated marble floor. A full breakfast each morning and turn-down with sweet treat each night also are included.

Opening in December, The Landing Resort & Spa on Lake Tahoe’s southern shores includes an 88-room boutique luxury hotel, restaurant, spa and conference center. All rooms feature five-star amenities including marble bathrooms, heated toilet seats, heated bathroom floors, high thread count linens, 55-inch wall mounted televisions, plush terry robes, Keurig coffee service, luxurious contemporary European furnishings, fireplaces and private decks, and most have a view of Lake Tahoe.
