Jackson Hole Mountain reports more than 21 feet of snow

With the latest storm delivering 35 inches of snow in the last six days, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has now received over 21 feet of snow, season to date. Jackson Hole has been leading the Rocky Mountain region for snowfall for most of the winter and experienced record skier days so far this season.

“The snow is really shaping up in our favor as we head into the heart of winter; pretty much assuring that skiers and riders will find the snow conditions they desire well into April,” said President Jerry Blann.

February and March are exciting months in Teton Village with special events every weekend, including the Wyoming Special Olympics this week and over the weekend the Backcountry Basecamp, Feb. 8, 9.

March kicks off with the famous Dick’s Ditch Classic, a banked slalom race March 7-9 for skiing and March 14 -16 for snowboarding.  The fun continues with live Music Under the Tram every Saturday in March and the premiere music event of the spring, Jackson Hole Rendezvous with three nights of music.

The Rendezvous festival starts on March 27 in the town of Jackson, followed by two nights of music in Teton Village featuring Steel Pulse on Friday and Michael Franti on Saturday.
