Real Salt Lake 0 Galaxy 1 (Half Time)

| | Comments (0) |

As usual, the Riot Squad have the best line of the night: a sign that reads "We're effing knackered too, Frank," a reference to the expletive-laden comments the frustrated Galaxy coach made after the Pachuca game (translation for non-Brits -- knackered means tired, as well as other things, but we won't go there).

Yallop acknowledges the sign as he jogs off the field after a TV interview.

The Galaxy were the far superior team in the first half, although it's not reflected in the stats as much as one would think. Shots are 11-7 in the Galaxy's favor, but both teams have four on target.

Still, the closest RSL got in the second half was a stoppage time free kick from Alecko Eskandarian that required a diving save from Cronin.

By the way, Beckham is here, in the AEG suite.
