Blanco Nets MLS Goal of the Year
Chicago forward Cuauhtémoc Blanco won the 2007 Goal of the Year today for his stunning left-footed volley into the upper right corner of the net in the Fire’s 2-0 victory over Real Salt Lake in August. It was the first MLS goal for the Mexican superstar.
