Hollywood United 3 Galaxy 6 (Half Time)
Edson Buddle has a hat trick for the Galaxy, David Beckham scored twice and Cobi Jones got in on the act with a nice chip over pudgy Anthony LaPaglia in goal that looked more than little offside.
Frank LeBeouf scored twice for United (including one from the spot after a very soft penalty call that Becks argued with the ref over) and Joe-Max Moore added the third with a long-range shot just before half time.
Defense is an afterthought at this one, although with England Coach Steve McClaren in the stands Beckham appears to be taking the game little more seriously than virtually anyone else. He went in hard on LeBeouf with one tackle that seemed more than a little over the top, for instance.
Galaxy goalkeeper Lance Friesz hasn't done himself any favors though, looking more than a little shaky between the posts, especially on Moore's strike.
Oh, and I should belatedly point out that Hollywood United does have a fancy Web site with player bios, etc.
