David Beckham is seeking to train with EPL team Arsenal in January, according to English media reports in a bid to win his 100th England cap.

No word from the PR staff at the Galaxy, who were out of the office for the holidays Friday.

I can't figure this out - Arsenal plays at a quick pace and don't rely on long ball. Arsenal has never been a club to worry about developing English players to be sure. Perhaps he just wants to identify with being at the top of the table.

Nick replies: Becks only wants to train with the Gunners to maintain (improve?) his fitness, not play for them.
