Tuesday's Column & a Poll
The last week has seen a heated global debate over a proposal to play regular season English Premier League games overseas, including the U.S.
Read this week's column for my take and the opinion of local players, then take the poll.
Comments welcome.
Updated: And the debate rolls on.
Good set of links with reaction, etc., on that page, too.

About 100 Percent Soccer
Sportswriter Nick Green has written the 100 Percent Soccer column since 2005. The blog of the same name began in 2007. A native of England, he began writing about soccer in the mid-1980s and in 2000 permanently exchanged a seat in the stands for one in the press box. He lives six miles from Carson's Home Depot Center, home of the Los Angeles Galaxy, Chivas USA and the training headquarters for U.S. Soccer and is married to a long-suffering soccer widow. The Week Ahead in 100 Percent Soccer

I don't see it as a bad thing, ya the majority of American leagues are doing it, why not European futbol leagues? They know very well there is a market just about anywhere in the world because just about everywhere else in the world watches the EPL, La Liga, Serie A, etc., etc.
It's just a matter of how it's done and dealt. Doing it at the beginning of a season would be great or after the winter break.
I remember a couple of years back Club America and Chivas had a friendly against each other at the Coliseum with Chivas USA and the Galaxy playing before them. The stadium was filled to the 90,000 capacity and both games were great (since both Chivas teams lost).
It's worth a shot if done in the right circumstances.
