Comments
Nick... any comments on the rumor that Beckhan wants to leave the Galaxy? Or Lalas being on the hot seat?
Thanks for all the info! Keep up the good work.
Nick replies: The rumor Beckham wants to leave the Galaxy I believe came from a English press report that quoted Posh as saying she eventually wants to return to live in England. Not now, but one day.
As for Lalas being on the hot seat, I'd say so after two years without making the playoffs, but I've heard nothing specific.
And while we're gossiping, aother reader e-mailed me the other day about an alleged rift between GM Lalas and Coach Ruud Gullit. Sounds a little early for that, but who knows? Gullit is known for feuding with coaches and other players throughout his career.
