Palos Verdes' John Thorrington of the Chicago Fire is the man of the hour in MLS.

Here's another take on the twists and turns of his career ahead of tonight's nationally televised game between the Fire and D. C. United including why he didn't come back to Southern California to play with the Galaxy.
