About 100 Percent Soccer
Sportswriter Nick Green has written the 100 Percent Soccer column since 2005. The blog of the same name began in 2007. A native of England, he began writing about soccer in the mid-1980s and in 2000 permanently exchanged a seat in the stands for one in the press box. The Crew could well be in the final but the Galaxy certainly won't. The Galaxy will collapse when Beckham, Donovan and Ruiz go off for World Cup duty. Players such as Tudela and Allen won't have enough experience to replace them, and despite Buddle's hat trick, he and Gordon have yet to show consistency. If any team from the West makes it, it'll most likely be Houston; the Dynamo still has quality and if it can find a decent striker, should return to form.
