Chivas USA Coach Preki took off Jonathan Bornstein and Atiba Harris at half time, replacing them with Justin Braun and Raphael Wicky.

It didn't help.

Statistically, Chivas USA held the edge over RSL in the second half in terms of shots. But not on the score board.

Final score: 1-0 RSL.

The Galaxy, meanwhile, defeated San Jose 3-0 with Edson Buddle scoring all three goals for his second hat trick of the season. That's eight goals in nine goals for Buddle this season.

Back with more later.
