The U.S. plays fourth-ranked Spain in a couple of hours.

Note to armchair viewers: the game is delayed until 2:30 p.m. on ESPN2 and 4 p.m. on Galavision.

The U.S. will hope to capitalize on Spain's defensive "issues," while keeping a clean sheet at the other end.

In other European news, the BBC took a look inside the head of former MetroStars player (and now Italy coach) Roberto Donadoni ahead of Euro 2008.

Lastly, apologies to ESPN analyst Tommy Smyth, whose name I managed to mangle in Tuesday's column. I owe you a Guinness, Tommy.
