Today's column looked at the schizophrenic Galaxy as a metaphor for MLS.

On cue, Steven Goff's Soccer Insider blog reports this morning the Galaxy are interested in signing an unnamed Argentine central defender perhaps using Carlos Ruiz as trade bait. Goff mentions Chivas USA as a possible destination for Ruiz.

Sportswriter Nick Green has written the 100 Percent Soccer column since 2005. The blog of the same name began in 2007.
