No Ante Razov. No Maykel Galindo. No win. But a valiant effort.

Notable: For the first time this season Chivas USA wore its second uniform: white and red stripes with white shorts and white socks.

*Chivas USA Coach Preki, on tonight's match:

"There were a lot of positives. I thought we played a decent second half given all the circumstances. We had two or three really good chances to tie the game. (Wizards goalkeeper) Kevin Hartman made a couple of good saves, and we didn't get the tie. We showed a lot of character in the second half after getting down 3-0. We never quit. But you have to give (Kansas City) credit. They created good chances, they put three of them away and they got a win."

Question: What did Preki et al see in Roberto Nurse? (The new Mexican forward was hauled off again after just 55 ineffective minutes).

Game story.

Are they relieved in KC? Yes.
