Tuesday's Column: What Does a Galaxy Without Beckham or Donovan Look Like?
A correction to the column: there is television coverage. It's on Fox Soccer Channel. But the fact I wasn't immediately aware of it (even if I have just returned from a week off) is yet another indication of how little promotion the tournament is receiving from organizers.

About 100 Percent Soccer

I think the Galaxy will be a better team this year simply because they added depth, speed and experience in many positions.
I don't mind a more balanced, less spectacular team, as long as they give their best.
Take Becks away = less circus coverage and screaming girls and most importantly less predictable (not always shifting the ball to him).
Take Donovan away, less 1v1s, less goals.
Looks like another year of misery, bottom of the table..
I bet we don't even win one game in the Pan-Pacific tournament.
