Top draft pick Michael Lahoud.

He sustained a "minor concussion" in last weekend's win over Colorado after coming on in the 54th minute. The Wake Forest product hasn't practiced all week; it's unknown whether he'll be ready for Sunday's encounter in Dallas.

Also, former Galaxy defender Abel Xavier is no longer training with the club.

Lahoud played the last 36 minutes of the Colorado game. Was the injury sustained to Atiba Harris (who came off) or to Lahoud at the end of the game?

Speaking of Lahoud...
I felt he had a solid 36 minutes, and controlled the ball well, even under pressure (at one point, he received the ball near the side line, but had the presence of mind to control it, pause and look up, recognize where the nearest Colorado player was, and find the open passing lane - maintaining possession).

It was reminiscent of Sasha K's first year... I little cautious, but sound fundamentals.

I did like that he took someone on, and that he seems to find the passing lanes that send the ball from the right wing to the left corner of the penalty box. I think that Braun/Galindo/Aleko are going to pick up on that soon and find themselves with a few nice breakaways on goal by making the far post run.

Diamond in the rough!

Nick replies: Sorry, that wasn't very clear. Lahoud came on in the 54th minute and so played the last 36 minutes - and he sustained the concussion somewhere in the latter stages of the game (the club official I spoke with was unsure how).
