The Official 2009 Chivas USA Team Photo (& Injury Update)
Because what's a team photo without the toll of the injured?
Here are the latest additions to the walking wounded: left back Ante Jazic is listed as questionable for Sunday with a concussion and Eduardo Lillingston (!) is probable with a left hamstring strain.
First I've heard of either of them.
The team photo was taken today at the just-concluded "24 Hours of Chivas USA" at L.A. Live.
No Abel Xavier there.

About 100 Percent Soccer
Sportswriter Nick Green has written the 100 Percent Soccer column since 2005 for the Daily News, Daily Breeze and other Los Angeles area newspapers. The blog of the same name began in 2007. Poor Chivas, they are always injury prone.
Nick, do you think Chivas would ever have a chance to go to the MLS Cup or make it further to the playoffs if they could avoid the injury bug?
Nick replies: Yes. But they haven't so they won't.
Off center, just like the picture shown. Never quite a comfortable fit in LA. I wish they would embrace an American-only players approach here to replicate what is the essence of the Chivas allure.
