Galaxy thug midfielder Dema Kovalenko allowed his temper to get the best of him (yet again) getting a straight red card for an unnecessary midfield studs up challenge on Colorado’s Mehdi Ballouchy in the 59th minute.

It was the 55th red card of his career (or at least felt like it); you’ll recall Kovalenko got a yellow in the home opener when he caused the penalty that led to United’s opening goal.
