Chivas USA Signs Fontana Native to Developmental Slot
Chukwudi Chijindu is a midfielder who played four years at the University of Connecticut scoring 26 goals in 86 games both as a midfielder and forward.
The graduate of Damien High School in La Verne, (who was with Chivas during the 2008 preseason) occupies the team's fourth (and final) developmental player slot. He joins Justin Braun, Gerson Mayen and Lance Parker as developmental players.
