Galaxy-Colorado Update
Suddenly, it's 2-2.
The Galaxy took a 2-1 lead in the 48th minute, defender Sean Franklin beating three defenders (!) before slipping the ball to Landon Donovan with a perceptive pass that split the defense. Donovan squared it to Alan Gordon for an easy goal.
But the Rapids equalized just seconds later in the 50th minute with a goal much like their first, Omar Cummings again providing the service for Conor Casey, who was wide, wide open.
