U.S. Open Cup Update: Galaxy-Rapids

Galaxy 0 Rapids 0

Penalty kicks here we come.

Best chance of the second half of OT for Colorado: A jinking Omar Cummings almost single-handedly took on the Galaxy defense in the 20th minute and threaded a ball through to a loitering Jacob Peterson, who missed yet another chance on the evening, carelessly shooting over the bar when he could have put the game away.

Best chance for the Galaxy: Jovan Kirovski shooting wide in the 26th minute.

Alan Gordon also saw a header saved from a Josh Tudela cross in the 30th minute.
