Final: Crew at Galaxy

Galaxy 1 Crew 1

Eddie Lewis scored his first goal of the season in second half stoppage time with an excellent 25-yard blast from a Crew clearance.

It was only the Galaxy's second effort on target in the game.

The Galaxy are now 1-1-7.

We'll see how Arena spins this one.

Timid. Disorganized. Unskilled. Careless.

Never a watchable sequence of more than ten seconds.

No sign of improvement since opening day.

Columbus was nearly as bad, but at least looked like they cared in the first half.

No way to spin it. Arena looked embarrassed during both interviews, and rightly so.

With a starting lineup that includes Miglioranzi, Gordan, and Jordan, there is no way this team could be asked to win games. Now the Galaxy want to bring in another defensive-minded player.

Arena is clueless.

Until the Galaxy bring on a young, talented striker, we will never contend. Period. This is not an opinion, this is just a fact Arena chooses to ignore as he shores up his elderly defense and whatever other strange things he does. The HCD is an old folks home.

Galaxy 2009 = playing for not to lose...

Change tactics (get a bit risky - we can with that great keeper Ricketts ad Gonzalez ahead of him IMO) or leave the G's.

I have had enough of such dull negative scared crap.

I would rather lose every now and then if on the plus side, we would win some games... ties are almost useless.
