Final: Galaxy at Seattle Sounders

Sounders 1 Galaxy 1

Despite playing the final 30 minutes or so a man to the good, the Galaxy were unable to break down the Sounders to claim an away win on their first-ever visit to Qwest Field.

Still, the Galaxy are now 1-1-6, have picked up consecutive road points and are undefeated in six games now.

This outing lacked the late drama of the tie in Utah earlier in the week, but if anything was a more even performance.

Edson Buddle made a belated appearance in the 84th minute, but was unable to make a difference before another fine crowd of 29,025 at Qwest Field.

More later.
