Galaxy (1-1-5) at Sounders (4-2-1) Lineups.

The Galaxy (4-4-2) make four changes to the starting lineup that saw them score two goals in second half stoppage time to tie Real Salt Lake 2-2 Wednesday night and extend their unbeaten streak to five games.

Tony Sanneh comes into the back four for Sean Franklin, who has a slight hamstring issue and is sitting out as a precautionary measure, Jovan Kirovski and Mike Magee get starts in midfield in place of Chris Klein and Eddie Lewis, while Alan Gordon gets the nod up top and Edson Buddle drops to the bench.

The midfield shake-up is supposedly due more to the veteran status of Klein and Lewis (who are both on the bench) and the number of games they've played than the non-existent midfield Wednesday against RSL. Both have played six of the Galaxy's seven games this season

Buddle, who blames artificial surfaces for many of his injury problems, is on the bench.

The starting XI: Ricketts, Sanneh, Berhalter, Gonzalez, Dunivant, Miglioranzi, Kirovski, Kovalenko, Magee, Gordon, Donovan.

The Sounders, who sit nine points behind Chivas USA in the Western Conference, start Kasey Keller in goal, feature former Galaxy players Tyrone Marshall and Nate Sturgis in defense, as well as Nate Jaqua up front. Striker Fredy Montero, sent off in the 1-1 draw with Chicago last week, is suspended.

The starting lineup for Seattle (4-4-2): Keller, Riley, Hurtado, Marshall, Sturgis, Evans, Alonso, Ljunberg, Zakuani, Jaqua, Le Toux.

The referee today: Tim Weyland (groan).

The overcast skies are slowly giving way to slivers of blue; the temperature is 55 degrees, perfect for soccer.

The game is live on Fox Sports West and TeleFutura.
