A depleted L.A. Sol (4-1-2) takes on an under-strength F.C. Gold Pride (3-3-1) at 4 p.m. today on Fox Soccer Channel thanks to the meaningless U.S.-Canada friendly scheduled for Memorial Day.

A Marta game preview is here.

Goalkeeper Val Henderson replaces Karina LeBlanc, who has six shutouts, between the posts today for the Sol.

Meanwhile, the Sol's latest victim, Sky Blue FC, have "indefinitely suspended" Coach Ian Sawyers:

"Differences have arisen between Ian and the ownership of the organization," said Thomas Hofstetter, CEO and President of Sky Blue Soccer - the parent organization of Sky Blue FC. "We are working through this matter as professionally as possible and will have further information available sometime next week."

Sky Blue FC lost to the Washington Freedom Saturday and sit in the WPS basement with a 1-4-2 record.
