Disappointing crowd for the first game of the doubleheader with the Galaxy with not many fans of the men's game bothering to come out a little early for the women. This, of course, is why AEG isn't interested in the Sol.

So gray and gloomy here in Carson then (in more ways than one), but perfect for football.

Here's the Sol XI:
goalkeeper - Karina LeBlanc
defenders - Allison Falk, Martina Franko, Stephanie Cox, Manya Makoski.
midfielders - Shannon Boxx, Aya Miyama, Camille Abily, Brittany Bock
forwards - Han Duan, Marta

Notable names for Athletica include Hope Solo in goal, Tina Ellertson in defense, Angie Woznuk and Lory Chalupny in midfield along with former Sol midfielder Kendall Fletcher. Former Sol forward Christie Welsh is on the bench.

There's no TV for this game so follow along here.
