Update: Galaxy at Real Salt Lake

RSL 1 Galaxy 0

A sequence that began with an unnecessary Dema Kovalenko free kick just on the periphery of the penalty box on Yura Movsisyan, ended with a Clint Mathis corner kick on the other side of the field, Robbie Findley diving low to beat Todd Dunivant to ball and give RSL a 1-0 lead with just over a half hour gone.

Mathis is shredding this team apart. He is the best pure "soccer" player ever born and raised in this country, bar none (yes, incl Donovan). It hurts that he trained with LA last for a whole month and the previous idiots in charge did not offer him a contract.

I haven't seen one quality pass or an accurate cross in this game (or for that matter the whole year) by LA but they insist on playing long ball.

Klein/Lewis are the most useless outside tandem in this league.
