The Galaxy defense was caught napping in the 22nd minute, Steve Zakuani finding an open Nate Jaqua, who squared the ball to Sebastien Le Toux for a deceptively simple opening goal.
A couple of minutes after that the Galaxy were almost two down, a Jaqua header grazing Donovan Ricketts' far post.
