Superliga had it's best outing that first year because of my gaLAxy's good run (the only good thing they did btw). It's been downhill since then.
Nick replies: Elton John in "Sorry seems to be the Hardest Word." (And thanks for getting that song stuck in my head now).
This is a good thing for Chivas USA. SuperLiga is a joke. The only reason MLS/SUM originated it was to take advantage of Beckham's presence in MLS, and try to market him (and, by extention, the league) to Mexican and Mexican-American fans. The Mexican clubs hate it, big money purses notwithstanding.
I expect next year's SuperLiga to have San Jose, New York, Dallas, Columbus on the MLS side and Indios, Queretaro, Jaguares and Puebla on the Mexican side.
