Beckham and Donovan Make Up

Or so they said after David Beckham's first official Galaxy training session Monday morning since his return from Europe.
"It's over," said David Beckham, who said he had sat down with Donovan and Coach Bruce Arena to hash things out. Donovan, the only Galaxy (or Chivas USA) player named to the MLS All-Star team today for the July 29 game against Everton, had questioned Beckham's commitment and leadership in the forthcoming book "The Beckham Experiment."
That was about it in the way of news today, although in truth there is no way to know if that's true. Shall we assume the body language in this shot is just a coincidence?
"It's an awkward situation," said Cobi Jones, Galaxy assistant coach. "It has been handled by the players very well. The overall mood in the locker room is very good.
"We're looking forward to see what else comes of this," he added. "Hopefully, nothing negative."
Hopefully.
I'll have more in Tuesday's column.

Any story behind the ice wrapped around Beckham's left ankle in that photo? Does he have some lingering injury that will undoubtedly keep him sidelined much of the rest of the season?
Nick replies: Beckham said he has a sore Achilles tendon, but claims it isn't an issue even on that renowned horrible artificial surface in New York he will play on Thursday against the Red Bulls.
Caption of photo should read "Going In Different Directions" or "I'm just here for the paycheck". Nick, keep us posted on anything your hear about this Telenovela.
Two players don't make a team. LA needs a better supporting cast. Eddie Lewis is washed up.
The circus is back in town and he is already putting HIS interest ahead of the team again and wants to go on loan again...
Just give him away for free!
I certainly hope he will be booed/shown signs of disapproval over here, so he doesn't want to stick around.
We fans want a player who wants to play for the G's and in MLS first and foremost.
the DP spot and capspace can easily be used on others too.
