With two games at Home Depot Center today, I managed to see only the final 45 minutes of the game between bites of a sandwich at a pub. I saw little of note from the Galaxy.

I called a debacle because of the overall poor team performance. You actually saw the better of the 2 halves. Call it fatigue, swine-inFLUence or what you want but it was Donovan's poorest performance of the season.
I've come to expect a better level of performance from this team every time they step on the field now and this wasn't one of them. I warned you all after the Chicago game of the ineffective paring of Jovan and Mike up front and this game proved it. Beckham is NOT a central midfielder who can control a game against a busy and hard working opponent. He did almost nothing, gave the ball away as much as Donovan. Best LA players on the night were Omar and the ref for voiding a perfectly onside goal by Emilio and not awarding a PK on a Dunivent push on Emilio.
