Beckham Back in Full Training
It appears David Beckham may well play Friday against Chicago at Home Depot Center after all.
He trained with the squad Tuesday and "upped" the pace in practice again today; no adverse effects I'm told and things are looking good for the crucial encounter that could see (depending on results Saturday) the Galaxy make the playoffs for the first time in four years.
Beckham, of course, missed the last Galaxy game with an Achilles issue and was on Monday officially listed by the club as "questionable" for the Fire game.
Incidentally, Chicago Fire midfielder John Thorrington of the Palos Verdes Peninsula is out of the game with a right groin strain, while Cuauhtemoc Blanco is listed as questionable.

Hey Nick-
Any word on the status of Miglioranzi and Kovalenko?
The holding midfield spot will be pretty vacant if neither one of them are fit to play on Friday.
Nick replies: I should know more after training today (there's also a news conference scheduled to promote the game).
Any word on Becks from today? Is he good for tomorrow night?
Nick replies - Here's your answer from the man himself (courtesy reporter Phil Collin): "Yeah, I’ll be ready. I don’t see why not. I’ve trained every day this week. ... "I don’t see it being a problem playing on it tomorrow."
And here's a little more on the Achilles issue: "I had an ankle injury when I left Madrid. It’s on and off - it’s not like an injury that keeps coming every week."
Kovalenko will have a late fitness test Friday, according to reporter Phil Collin, who was out at practice today (I wasn't). Miglioranzi is out.
