Update: Dynamo at Galaxy

The floodlights have just failed here at the HDC. (No kidding). It's the 18th minute of the game.

Updated: Since we have a few minutes here it's worth pointing out the Dynamo are keying on the soft spot just inside the left back position of the inexperienced A.J. DeLaGarza and to the left of sluggish central defender Gregg Berhalter. That's exactly where a colleague up in the press box predicted the Dynamo would focus their attacking intentions. It's happened at least twice now.

BTW, it's 8:49 p.m. now - they're saying 10 minutes or so (at least) before the power comes back on.

Galaxy officials say this is a "power grid shift" that caused a power dip, if you followed that.

TV just showed a shadowy MLS Commish Don Garber, who is at the game and apparently in the dark as usual (sorry, couldn't resist).

Updated: We're resuming play - that was about a 19 minute break.
