Galaxy, Donovan to Make "Major Player Announcement" Wednesday
Sounds like Landon Donovan is off to Everton, where goalkeeper Tim Howard recently gushed that LD would be a "star" in the EPL.
The announcement is scheduled for noon at ESPN Zone at LA Live, where Donovan and Galaxy Coach Bruce Arena will talk at a press conference, according to the press release.
And just to add that extra element of intrigue, here's what Donovan posted on his Facebook page Monday:
"Back from Hawaii after a great vacation. Congrats to Alan Gordon and his wife, Sandy, on getting married! If I'm not back soon, Happy Holidays to all!!!"
"If I'm not back soon" from where, exactly, since you just got back from Hawaii, Mr. Donovan?
Hmmm.

Mr. Donovan could have meant if he's not back on Facebook anytime soon. Some people actually have more important business to tend to than logging onto Facebook everyday :):):)!!!
Hope he realizes he won't get the same fawning treatment from the EPL suits and referees that he does in MLS ...
