Galaxy announce preseason game March 21 in Carson against El Salvador’s CD Aguila

The game will begin at 5 p.m. at Home Depot Center against Club Deportivo guila, the current leaders of El Salvador’s top division.

The Galaxy open their season six days after this final tune-up against the New England Revolution in Carson.

C.D. guila is a 14-time league champion and one of El Salvador’s most popular clubs.

“guila are one of the best and most popular teams in El Salvador and we feel that they will provide a difficult challenge for our team while also attracting the extensive Salvadoran fan base throughout the Southland,” said LA Galaxy President of Business Operations Tom Payne.

Tickets starting at $15 go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday.

This is the second preseason game the Galaxy has announced the club will play in Southern California.

The Galaxy will also play Costa Rica’s Puntarenas F.C. March 10 at Titan Stadium in Fullerton.
